pmix is a python script that selects a random number of random length 
segments of audio files randomly selected from a pool, applies a 
randomly chosen degree of time stretching or compressing, loops the 
mangled segments and mixes the whole mess down to stereo. The current
version runs automatically. A live mode with manual control of mixing 
and effect parameters is in progress. Other planned modes are listed 
below. Eventually guitar_mix will be rewritten as a pmix mode. The pool
contains sounds collected since 1996 on cassette tape, since summer 2004
on miniDV and previous output of pmix, guitar_mix, *osar, megim and some 
unpublished projects.
