I probably missed a few cuts, so there may be a few files that need to be
split.

Commas in file names? feels wrong to me somehow ...
For the most part, if there are multiple names it is only because I
didn't know in advance which author would be presenting. I don't recall
more than a few talks that actually had multiple speakers. For the
future, I want to be able to pull the metadata directly out of the
conference mgt system. Hopefully that can have a field indicating which
author(s) will be presenting.

Most of them are just the breaks between speakers. They were captured in
order to avoid missing recording a talk in case I failed to restart the
stream and recording in time. That did happen a few times, so some of
them need to be trimmed.
If you give me a day or so, I can sort through the rough_cuts directory
and get most of it cleaned up.

I've long thought it would be good to have the ZKM and TU sites moved to
linuxaudio.org. But on the other hand, I think part of the reason they
remain at the hosting intitutions is to continue to provide some
exposure for them and recognistion of their contribution. The local
teams probably need to at least give their OK for moving the conference
sites under linuxaudio.org.

I would like it very much if we could establish some continuity of
organizational teams and infrastructure from year to year. Each year
will of course have local team organizers who will put their own touch
and style on the conference. But, if we have a lac-team at linuxaudio.org
list, irc channel and perhaps wiki that persist from year to year, I
think the work of the local team will benefit greatly from the
participation of past years' organizers and the work of the streamteam
will improve through closer colaboration with the orga-team.
To some extent this already happens, but mostly behind the scenes in
German and not in a public forum. I suppose to some degree certain
things wrt sponsorship and submission selection need to be kept private.
But as a stream-team member for 4 of LACs 6 years, I would like to at
least have access to the logistical discussions as I feel we can do a
better job and be of more use to the orga-team if we have more
information and some input into the process.
Just to be clear, none of this is meant as negative criticism of the
organizational teams. You all have done a tremendous amount of work with
great results! :) These are just some ideas I've had for how we can do
even better.
