[specimen] what's up

Just a quick note about what I'm up to.

I've gone through the backlog of mail I've gotten over the past 3 months
or so and committed to svn most patches and changes submitted or
discussed. At the moment trunk does not build. I'm aware of the issues
and will fix them. This is not going to be the mode of operation going
forward, just a temporary measure to get caught up. In the future I hope
to keep trunk very useable and open up branches for working out any
major changes.

I still need to evaluate the build system rewrite offered by Antonio
Willy Malara back in November. I'll be working on that tomorrow. Along
with that I'll make sure trunk is in good useable shape.

There is also a bugzilla instance installed on zhevny.com now. It will
be configured for specimen shortly. If you've already sent me feature
requests or bug reports privately or on the list I have them gathered up
and consolidated. I'll be entering them into bugzilla this week. Please
hold off on submitting new reports/requests there or on the list until I
announce that I've finished.

Once trunk is clean and the issue db is ready I'll put out a roadmap of
what order I'm planning to work on stuff.

Thanks,
Eric Rz.
