Whoops, it appears that both of the mails I sent got through to the list. 
Somehow my mail client failed to make me aware of this (yeah, sorry excuse, I 
know :)). Sorry for the noise!

What you're seeing doesn't match the picture because as I said I didn't upload 
any of the changes yet. I decided to ask first because Eric's ultimately in 
charge of Specimen, and I think a change this big calls for review.

Of course if pushing changes to SVN (and possibly reverting them if necessary) 
is a proper way to offer review material in Eric's opinion, I can do that 
from now on.

I have already uploaded one fix related to the channel volume bug in revision 
67; MIDI controller 7 no longer changes all of the patches' volumes at once. 
In fact, at the moment it does absolutely nothing, which is why we need a 
brand new, per-channel volume setting.

By the way, the changes visible in the picture I sent are so far _only_ GUI 
changes; I haven't done anything with the mixer engine yet.

But how do you like the screen shot, do you think it looks usable?
