The latest code is available via subversion:
svn co http://zhevny.com/svn/specimen/trunk specimen
You can point a web browser at that URL to see the current
revision of all files. There is also an announcement-only
list
if you wish to be notified of new commits.
A source and binary rpm are available; however, if you haven't met
all of the above requirements with
rpms, you're probably better off with the tarball. Alternatively, if
you're running Planet
CCRMA, you should be able to install Specimen
with the following command:
apt-get install specimen
If you plan to build either the tarball or the source rpm, make sure that you have the -devel libraries for the above packages installed as well.
| Filename | Kbytes |
|---|---|
| specimen-0.5.1-1.i386.rpm | 100 |
| specimen-0.5.1-1.src.rpm | 210 |
| specimen-0.5.1.tar.gz | 207 |
SuSE packages are available over at jacklab.net.
The tarball installs in the usual way:
tar -xzvpf specimen.tar.gz cd specimen ./configure make su -c "make install"
Version 0.2.0 of Specimen is also available for those who prefer the lean-and-mean style of old. It'll be a while yet before Specimen is both as feature complete and high performance as I plan, but if the performance is more important to you than the features, this is for you.
